(PS2) Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 [PAL-E] [4.0 GB]

Fans of the Naruto anime were quite excited when the Naruto: Shippuden series began. Taking place years after the original series (which contained hundreds of episodes), Shippuden finally pushed the franchise's plot forward, presented older versions of the characters and overcame countless filler episodes that plagued the original anime with stagnant narration. It makes complete sense, then, that the Shippuden universe would be made into a game, which is exactly what developer CyberConnect2 did on the PlayStation 2. Titled Ultimate Ninja 4: Naruto Shippuden, the game follows the Shippuden story line and delivers the action in the form of the original Ultimate Ninja battle system that was especially popular on the PSP.

(PS2) .hack//G.U. Vol. 2//Reminisce [NTSC-U] [3.14GB]

The second release in a series of three, .hack//G.U.: Vol. 2 -- Reminisce takes place in a fictional MMO environment called The World. As in previous releases of .hack, The World features elements of online gaming without the actual connection. Gamers interact with people they might find in a real MMO, take on quests, and adventure across a large environment as they increase their level.

In this version of The World, gamers find the once-utopian landscape is now a player killer's (PKers) heaven. A bug in the game is blocking the log-off ability to all fictional gamers; effectively locking them into The World. Now, bands of PKers prey on every character in their path hoping that the slaughter knocks them out of the game and back into real life.

Gamers take the role of Haseo, a killer of players who is stuck in the game. Haseo must work his way through The World by interacting with other character, defeating enemies in dungeon sprawls, and by completing assigned objectives. Navigation through the game requires the use of Warp points located around the map.

.hack//G.U. Vol. 1: Rebirth takes place three years after .hack//QUARANTINE ended. The player meets reliable friends in Gaspard, Silabus, Atoli, Kuhn and many others later in game. The battle system is still real-time but with mostly hack and slash action. Also, when the player lands a certain number of combos on an enemy and they glow blue and yellow you can perform special Rengeki moves. Rengeki moves get more powerful as you progress through the game. The player also has a morale gauge in the top right corner of your screen. When the gauge is full, the player can perform an Awakening attack with help from his/her party members. There are two types of Awakening attacks, Demon and Beast Awakening. The Demon Awakening lets you unleash powerful magic attacks without using SP (Skill Points). The Beast Awaking makes the player invulnerable to physical attacks for a set period of time while enhancing his/her physical abilities.

(PS2) .hack Part 2: Mutation [NTSC-U] [3.05GB]

.hack//Mutation is the second in a four part game series. It's a single player adventure / rpg that "simulates" an MMORPG (EverQuest, Ultima On-line) that has you playing the character Kite. You can get member addresses of other character and attempt to call them to in game to see if they are on-line to join you in a quest. Like standard MMORPG games, it has a LOT of side quests, lots of weapons and armor, a trading system for equipment among other character and the ability to move between different servers. You also have message boards and e-mail to communicate with other "players". This version improves the original by better AI control of other character's, additional items, more characters, access to more servers / areas, and a lot more.

You can play this game without beating the first one or import your save game data and retain everything for a seamless transition in to outbreak. Once you beat the game, you can still continue to play and level up your character and your character can transfer to the third game .hack//Outbreak (Aug 2003).
