In the third-person action-adventure game The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, players will take on the roles of Rick O'Connell and his son, Alex (played by Brendan Fraser and Luke Ford, respectively, in the film). Gamers will follow the lead characters on their harrowing journey - across exotic locations from ancient Chinese catacombs to beautiful, but dangerous, Himalayan peaks - to defeat the revived servants of the Dragon Emperor (Jet Li).

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor allows players to switch seamlessly between gunplay and hand-to-hand melee attacks, and also features a fast and fluid combat system and an arsenal of weaponry that can be used to vanquish the many bone-chilling enemies players will face during their journey. Fans of the upcoming Universal Pictures film, directed by Rob Cohen and set to hit theatres this August 1st, will fight their way through The Mummy universe by utilizing combat, puzzle-solving and hieroglyphic decoding gameplay elements.

In an effort to appeal to all types of gamers, Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning is designed to be a new experience that shows a darker side of the cuddly purple dragon. With an attack system designed to make use of four elements (earth, fire, ice, and electricity), Spyro can now abandon his patented head-butt assault and chain together 12 different attacks for nearly irresistible destruction. Players can upgrade the elemental assaults over the course of the game, and use the "Fury" attack to clear enemies from a large area. The gems that were currency in the last few games can now be used to recharge life, breath, and the "Fury" gauge. Different enemies are more vulnerable to certain attacks, while they brush off others as mere annoyances. For example, a lava monster won't mind a fiery attack as much as a shot of ice in the eye. Sparx, Spyro's dragonfly companion, takes a more involved role in A New Beginning, and a handful of Hollywood actors voice characters in the game.

The final chapter in the Legend of Spyro trilogy, Dawn of the Dragon finds the purple dragon joining forces with Cynder, his former rival, to defeat the evil Dark Master and save the world. Once again the action is viewed from a third-person perspective set behind Spyro as he runs, flies, and glides across 3D worlds. An assortment of elemental attacks and combos are used to defeat whimsical enemies, and for the first time in the series, cooperative play is supported. Players can team up as Spyro and Cynder to complete challenges and solve puzzles throughout the main storyline. Cooperative play features a drop-in and drop-out system, allowing solo gamers to continue their progress if a friend decides to leave. A celebrity-filled voice cast features the talents of Elijah Wood, Gary Oldman, Christina Ricci, Wayne Brady, Blair Underwood, and Mark Hamill.

James Cameron's tv series in game form. Dark Angel has you playing as Max Guevera, a 'genetically engineered super-soldier' running around in a post-apocalyptic Seattle, looking to uncover past, family and the evil plans of the "- I - Corporation".

Most of the game involves beat-'em-up style hand-to-hand combat. Max can pull off a variety of flashy moves such as roundhouse kicks and backflipping off walls. The camera also enters the 'bullet time' mode when she does a combo sometimes. Certain levels ask you to assume use of the few stealth skills that Max has to offer.

The game features voiceovers by the actual stars of the show - Jessica Alba and Michael Weatherly.

The PlayStation 2 version of Half-Life is a port of the Windows game, but with a significant overhaul for the weapons and character models, as well as the overall map geometry and some extended levels.

It also includes an expansion pack that is referred to as Half-Life: Decay, which was never officially available as an expansion for the Windows game until it was eventually recreated as a modification. The third expansion for the original game, it features two-player cooperative gameplay (in split-screen) with the two female scientists Gina Cross and Colette Green as the protagonists. It is meant to be played with two players at the same time as it is more puzzle-oriented than the original game and the first two expansions. Singleplayer is also possible, but then switching between the two characters is necessary to advance. When not active, the other character is AI controlled for basic actions.

It is set at the same time of the events in the original Half-Life, but from the perspective of other characters. All enemies and weapons are based on the original game and many of the missions have a more friendly approach about working together or rescuing NPCs. Unique to the series as a whole is the lack of a single narrative; instead the add-on consists of fixed, separate missions. At the end of each mission, statistics are shown and the player is graded. When the nine levels are completed with an A grade, a bonus mission is unlocked where players control and work together as two Vortigaunts. As an additional bonus, the entire singleplayer can then also be completed as a Vortigaunt.

The game supports a USB mouse and keyboard for more precise control.

The game casts players in the role of Fry, Bender, Leela, or Dr. Zoidberg, with each character having his or her own distinct moves and weapons. In their quest to right a terrible wrong, players will run through futuristic New New York (in the year 3000), revisit "old" New York, confront Sun Priests in Sun City, attack swamp monsters and gators lurking in the Bogad Bayou, and zip across an asteroid belt to zap giant robotic monsters living in a junkyard of space relics.

In addition to shooting enemies with their character's default weapon, players can perform basic moves such as jumping or climbing to reach new areas or to avoid potential hazards. Puzzle-solving aspects involve activating generators before using elevators on certain stages, and simply flipping the occasional switch or lever. Writers from the FOX television series created the game's story and dialogue, with design input offered by show creator Matt Groening himself. To maintain the vibrant yet simple look of the sci-fi series, the developers made use of a "toon-shading render engine" created specifically for the game. Actors from the original cast also provide the voice-overs for each of the main characters.
