You can select a radio station to play during the matches, mixing music with commentary.

EA's Fight Night returns in its second installment. Once again, you can create a new boxer and start a career that begins as an amateur in a shady gym somewhere in Queens, NY and fight your way up to the top. Alternatively, you could relive the careers of some legendary boxers.

Of course, you could go for a simple match with either a computer or a live opponent.

Round 2 offers many new features, like fancy particle effects that show blood and sweat spraying into the camera in ultra slow-motion. The "Total Boxer Control", which lets you throw punches by making certain movements with the analog stick, has been improved. There are also many ways to customize the appearance of your character, up to the shaping of the cranium and ears.

The games graphics have been improved, and there is a greater roster of players to choose from. The most noteworthy addition is that of female players, such as Monica Seles and Venus and Serena Williams. You cannot however play as a male against a female.

The gameplay is a lot faster than the original. The players you control move a lot faster, as do the AI computer players. Less diving, but more getting at shots that go behind you and over the shoulder shots.

The game modes from the original are the same, featuring tournament mode, where you play against the pros; exhibition mode for a one-on-one, best-out-of-three game; and world tour mode which now features the option of creating and customizing your own player. Build you player up, buy equipment and hire pros to play in doubles matches with you.

Replays can be fast-forwarded and rewound, and the view can be rotated. The advantage rule is now implemented, so a foul will only stop play if the fouled team suffers for it.

Pro Evolution Soccer 5 pushes the franchise one level up towards realism by expanding and improving character moves and control. The standard modes are here, match mode (with newly added memorial match), various leagues, and cups. There are a number of different courses, characters, clubs, and ball types to choose from. New equipment can be purchased with experience points, which your characters earn by winning matches. Better equipment will ease up the games difficulty a bit by providing greater accuracy, distance, and control.

As an addition feature, the game has an international ranking system of sorts. With a password from the game you can post your scores on a website, where you can see how you measure up against everyone else out there.

Hot Shots Golf Fore! (HSG4) continues the cute-golf style of Hot Shots Golf 3 with a new major addition - online play. You can take your golf game online and challenge other golfers in stroke play or match play games to see who the best video golfer in the world is.

You can play through tournaments on one of 12 different golf courses, each with varied layouts, weather, and hazards. There is also a par-3 short course, and two mini-golf courses where your goal is to score points by sinking long putts within two strokes.

There are many things to unlock in HSG4. You can add new golfers to your roster by challenging and defeating them in Vs. Mode. You can also purchase new costumes, caddies, clubs, and balls at the golf shop by earning points during tournaments and Vs. play. As you perform well in these game, your ranking will improve (from Rookie to Amateur to Pro), and so too will the strength of the opposition.

Hot Shots Tennis (Everybody's Tennis in Europe) is a simulation of the tennis sport. It is very arcade oriented which means the player only needs to the correct position to the ball and a good timing. The player also can choose between different shot variants by pressing the assigned buttons. There are three playing modes: trainings, exhibition matches and challenge mode. The latter consists of a series of matches against the AI. After a few victories the player improves his abilities and can play in a better league with stronger opponents. It also unlocks new characters, referees and stadiums with different advantages and disadvantages.

In multiplayer and free matches the player can vary various settings, including the basic rules, and use his unlocked rewards. There are also fun options, e.g. unrealistic physics and slow motion mode.
